RAK Environment launches a program to measure indoor air pollutants in government departments
In an effort to raise the level of environmental awareness in Ras Al Khaimah, EPDA has launched a program to measure air pollutants in government departments. Within the activities of the program, a technical team led by Dr. Saif Mohammed Al Ghais, Director General, visited the eGovernment Authority to meet its Director General Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sayyah and a number of eGovernment team.During the visit, Dr. Saif discussed the importance of indoor air quality and reviewed the most important causes of its pollution, the potential damage caused by its presence in the life of the individual, and how to reduce this pollution. There were some discussions between him and e-government staff on this subject and answered their questions. Technical team tested the air samples in the various facilities of the eGovernment Authority to study them after extracting the results. EPDA intends to circulate the program to the various departments and bodies in Ras Al Khaimah.
